Title: Coordinator of Global Achievement Project

The Global Achievement Project (GAP) offers support and services to students born outside the continental United States – refugees, immigrants, etc. Academic obstacles that may impede the success of these students are identified, and programs and services are put into place to address student needs. The coordinator also arranges social opportunities for students to come together in a spirit of fellowship and mutual support. The Global Achievement Project coordinator provides the following services:

• Advises students regarding educational options, requirements, policies and procedures

• Refers students to workshops and instructional opportunities focused on student success

• Informs students of on-campus and off-campus resources for assistance and support

• Assists students in clarifying their educational goals
